Mr. Dustan also known as Dark Talon is an awakened Sage and Junior-class Legionnaire, operating as a Brigadier General for the Legion Association. He is the Instructor for Class Dustan as part of the Continental Academy's House Black Sheep.

Dusty is also a former member of Sentry's S-Zero, where he undertook numerous covert operations with the rank of Master Sergeant. Since leaving the organization however, he co-founded a recognized Legionnaire squad known as Raptor, a small group of Legionnaires who act as cleaners and resource hunters.

He graduated as part of the Millennium Class with the rank of 5.

History & Backstory

Not much is known about Dusty's life, he claims to be from a small village near the Edge of the World, formerly known as the Shadow Gate. In his own words he was "an kid angry at the world carrying the burden of his world's expectation on top of shoulders". According to Dusty, there was a situation within his home town that the Legionnaire Association refused to look at. When the Shadow Gate fell in his early teenage years his life would completely change.

He met Alexavier "Dusty" Dustan, a man who would become his father figure in life and mentor. Alexavier mentored him closely as part of the Continental Academies 1st graduating class (The Millennium Class). Within the original Class Dustan, he and Keiron Payne quickly became acquainted as sworn brothers. During the time he also came to meet Rey Jimenez, a girl who he noted as being remarkably tall for such a young age. Dusty and Alexavier lost some sort of bet to Anders and his daughter Rey that meant they had to get married. To this day, Dusty still has feelings for Rey but there are trust issues in their relationship that prevent Rey from committing all the way.

Dusty and Alexavier had a promise of their own. As a result of Dusty graduating as number 5, Alexavier would take him on an expedition that would see them rescue his home town. Unable to attain clearance from then at the time Major General Aaron "The Diamond" Parker who'd been a long time comrade of Alexavier, the two were forced to go at it alone. Their expedition was a catastrophic failure that lead to the death of Alexavier Dustan.

Bitter and full of guilt, Dusty was recruited by Chief of Sentry Silas Reigns, to the dark corner of the Legion where the name Dark Talon would become feared all over the world as a vicious perpetrator of dark justice.

Jorah Dustan, brother of the late Alexavier Dustan would seek out Dark Talon and convince him to quit the Sentry and become an Instructor Legionnaire. He took on the name Dusty to honor his mentor, swore a vow of pacifism and went on to teach the reborn Class Dustan where he has passed one graduate, number 1 graduate of the 11th Graduating Class, Charlie du Fluer.

Powers and Abilities

Physical Prowess

Dusty displays a passive Monster Level physical prowess, displaying a Monster strength, speed, agility, reflexes, endurance, stamina etc. in all manner of combat.

Life Energy Manipulation

Dusty is extremely proficient at manipulating his aura, he has demonstrated the ability to shape and re-channel it in many facets, such as strengthening parts of his body and using it to amplify the potency and area of effect of his attacks.

Dusty also demonstrates the ability to use aura transmutation to give his Aura the property of the nature, wind.

Predator Instinct

Predator Instinct is Dusty's internal channeling of his Aura that grants him monster precognition and the ability to impose his presence onto other's frightening them or causing them to freeze in place. It is said that those who experience this see "the face of a demonic bird with the face of death".

Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Staraptor

The Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Staraptor is a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows its user to transform into a Staraptor hybrid and a full Staraptor at will. It formerly belonged to Alexavier Dusten before his early demise. Dusty is thought to have hunted down the fruit during his 5 year absence, a fitting addition to his alias Dark Talon.

Dusty demonstrates the ability to not only perform a hybrid transformation but also a partial shift in many capacities, he has shown the ability to turn his arms into large wings as well as transforming his feet and hands into Talon like limbs. When using the fruit in any capacity, the carnivorous nature of the Staraptor grants him immense physical strength, dwarfing superhuman feats at certain points, the talons he can makes can easily damage steel as well as many other reinforced materials without the additional cutting prowess of some of his other techniques. When transformed in his hybrid form the speeds at which he fly at are said to create cracks in the air and cause extreme bursts of wind that blow away his surrounding area during the duration of his flight, it essentially acts as a protective aura.

The fruit also boosts his Close Combat fighting prowess as well as his Agility.
